The School of Politics and International Studies (POLIS) at the University of Leeds is looking for a lecturer in international security to add to our growing strength in quantitative methods within the School and the wider Faculty. In particular, the School is looking to appoint a quantitative researcher with expertise in the area of international security (broadly defined) who would engage closely with colleagues in the Centre for Global Security Challenges. We particularly encourage applications from candidates with specialisms in the following areas: gender, climate change, race, security, and terrorism.

The successful candidate will be expected to build a strong portfolio of research and teaching, help advance the School’s undergraduate and graduate curriculum in International Relations, pursue funded research projects, contribute to the growth and development of one or more of our research centres, and support our vibrant community of PGR research students.
