Institute of Comparative Molecular Endocrinology (CME) Open PhD positions
Expected starting date is October 1st 2016 initially for one year, after completing a PhD agreement an extension of the contract is possible  Topic: “Oncogene-induced senescence as an antiproliferative mechanism and a potential trigger for premature aging in Costello syndrome” Research focus: The group of Dr. Cirstea at the CME studies various aspects of RAS signaling pathways in cancer, developmental disorders (RASopathies) and organismal aging, using various in vitro and in vivo experimental methods. The projects involve a broad range of techniques: analysis of transgenic mouse models, biochemical, cell biological and molecular biological techniques, histological methods.
