Description :
Type: Academic | Department: Themed Areas of Course Portfolio | Location: Stoke campus | Closing Date: 07 Sep 2016 | Bring academic, strategic, inspirational and operational leadership – and your talents to the fore – as you grow and develop the University’s approach to student recruitment, across our range of disciplines to meet our commitment to high quality accessible education for all. The University is making a significant investment in a number of Associate Dean roles focusing upon student recruitment, to provide leadership in themed areas of our course portfolio, across both undergraduate and postgraduate provision. These roles, reporting directly to the University’s Executive initially, will work seamlessly with our Marketing and Public Relations function, Admissions and Enrolment function and Faculties to ensure that our strategies deliver results. These roles will be pivotal to our success and you’ll use your entrepreneurial flair to strengthen collaboration, promote innovation and support our University to reach new audiences – as well as new heights. We are seeking someone with significant experience of health education and workforce planning, ideally within the NHS, to join this newly appointed team. This post will lead on the development of, and recruitment, to our portfolio of awards delivered at our Centres of Excellence in Healthcare Education in Stafford and Shrewsbury. By working closely with NHS Trusts and University colleagues you will ensure we play a vital part in the future development of the health workforce. With notable higher education experience combined with natural gravitas, you’ll enjoy the support to do what you do best – use your passion and presence to lead and enhance the student recruitment plans of an ambitious University on a local, regional, national and international stage. For an informal discussion please contact Ian Blachford; Executive Director of Corporate Services, on 01785 353299.
