Description :
Category: Support - Administrative | Faculty: Faculty of Arts & Social Sciences | Department: School of Law | Closing Date: 28 Feb 2017 | As Senior School Administrator in the Law School you will be the line-manager of all professional support staff within the School and will lead the team on behalf of the Head of School. You will advise the Head of School on all matters relating to administration within the School and will sit on the School’s Policy Committee (the School’s equivalent to a Management Team). You will also operate as part of the undergraduate assessment team and will be responsible for leading all administration in respect of these programmes. The Law School has approximately 800 undergraduates and we anticipate growth in the coming years. The undergraduate portfolio is therefore extremely important to the Law School and it is for this reason that the senior professional staff member in the School is based within that team. If sucessful you will have an opportunity to work in one of the largest and most vibrant departments within the School. You will work alongside the Head of School to modernise and update its professional support staffing, helping the School meet its potential for growth. This is a full time indefinite post. Informal enquiries can be made to Professor Alisdair A. Gillespie, Head of School (a.gillespie@lancaster.ac.uk / 01524 593706).
