Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge?  Do you have a background in global public health?  Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

You will provide support to a multi-country study entitled “Surveys for Urban Equity: getting, and using, the data to respond to NCDs in urban areas” and funded through a Global Challenges Research Fund Foundation Award. 

You will take the lead in the development of intervention and research tools and analysis plans for this multi-country study, building and maintaining effective relationships with colleagues and communities in Nepal, Bangladesh and Vietnam to help support the collection and analysis of qualitative data. You will also get the opportunity, and be required to travel to Bangladesh, Nepal or Vietnam at least twice throughout the study.

You will have a first degree and PhD (or close to completion) in public health or social science (or a closely allied discipline).
