An experienced professional is sought for the above post based which will play a key role in the University’s Research, Enterprise and Graduate Services department.

Reporting to both the Director of REGS and the Director of Marketing and Communications, the role will support business engagement activity through the effective planning, management and execution of corporate and bespoke marketing projects to raise awareness of the University’s knowledge transfer activities in the external marketplace and provide effective marketing channels to reach professional and non-student audiences.

It is essential that candidates have substantial experience at manager level in a marketing communications or corporate communications role, proven and demonstrable experience of developing integrated marketing campaigns with exposure to the full communications mix and proven experience of developing original copy for brochures, newsletters or other promotional collateral.

Candidates should also have highly developed project management skills, analysis and interpretation skills for market intelligence purposes, current and relevant knowledge of design and print methods and digital communications and awareness of key legislation — e.g. FOI, Data Protection Act and Copyright law.

Candidates must hold a first degree or equivalent Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma orChartered Institute of Public Relations Diploma or equivalent Membership of the CIM or CIPR. 

This is a full-time permanent post.
