Description :
Category: Admin/Clerical | Faculty/Division: Marketing & Communications Department | School: Marketing and Communications | Department: Marketing and Communications | Location: City Centre Campus (Millennium Point) | Post Type: Full Time | Closing Date: 28 May 2017 | This is an opportunity for second year students within CEBE Film Production and Film Technology and Visual Effects courses as a placement year.   Do you want to showcase your digital content skills to millions of people a year by helping us develop the digital work of one of our University faculties? And are you passionate about creating great shareable content that will appeal to potential students and other audiences? If so, this could be the job for you.   With a particular focus on our Faculty of Computing, Engineering and the Built Environment (CEBE) we will want you to support the development of new ideas, creating great content, mainly film, that showcases the exciting work taking place in our faculty, as reflected in our website ( www.bcu.ac.uk/cebe) and across the range of other channels we use, such as social media. You will be able to spot a great story or message and present it in a visual way that drives interaction from prospective students, current students and wider audiences. You will be involved in project planning from brief to completion.   A key element of this role will be about developing opportunities that work across all of our digital channels and tailoring content appropriately, whether that is shorter term material, stunts aimed at attracting attention or creating content for key large-scale campaigns. There will be opportunities to work with our external film production teams.
