About You

You will be qualified to Degree level and preferably have or be working towards a financial qualification awarded by a recognised Professional Body i.e. CIMA, ACCA. Excellent IT, numeracy and literacy skills are essential as is knowledge of financial management procedures and controls.

You will deliver a high standard of work, accurately, under pressure and to strict deadlines whilst displaying excellent attention to detail and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential with the ability to produce and articulate clear and concise reports, procedures and business documents.

Your enthusiasm and willingness to act as an ambassador for the service, being passionate about our contribution to the customer experience at all times will ensure that you quickly establish yourself as a key member of our award winning team.

About the Role

You will lead the collation and production of financial reports, monitoring and analysis of key contract information and the improvement of key financial processes and systems. As part of this changing and dynamic service area you will be responsible for the line management of a small team ensuring the effective delivery of the FM finance function whilst providing customer service excellence and continuously improving the service provided to the department and University.
