Lecturer in Games Journalism & PR (CDT16-14)

Passionate about gaming? Passionate about writing about gaming? Got acres of experience in games journalism and/or games PR that you’d love to pass on to the next generation of games media professionals?

We’re looking for a lecturer* with a solid current or recent background in Games Journalism and PR to join our School at Staffordshire University.

You will be able to offer expertise in the Games Journalism industry, including among others strong industry links, knowledge of current developments, great writing skills, and essential technical skills. Experience of teaching or delivering training within the context of Higher Education is desirable, but not essential.

You will be passionate about gaming, the games industry and teaching and will be a highly motivated individual keen to enhance the student experience, develop relevant research areas around Games Journalism, and demonstrate module leadership skills.

*The post is offered as one full-time position but is also available as a job share.
