Finance Assistant - Finance Services (039017)

The Finance Department provides financial leadership in alignment with University strategy by delivering value and ensuring long term financial sustainability, and provides support to colleagues throughout the University.

We are seeking applications from motivated and dynamic individuals to the post of Finance Services Assistant with immediate effect.  Possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills, you will have previous experience of processing expense claims, working in a purchase and sales ledger environment and dealing with a broad range of suppliers. You will demonstrate good IT skills and the ability to work on your own initiative and under pressure. Excellent inter-personal skills and a pro-active approach are essential, together with accuracy and a keen eye for detail.

The post holder will be part of the team responsible for providing financial transaction services to the university. In addition to other tasks, you will be actively involved in processing expense forms and supplier payments, and ensuring these are paid in a timely manner.
