Established in 1935, GSA enjoys national and international renown as a leading conservatoire for performer training. The School has a diverse and vibrant community of performers, performance makers, creative practitioners and technicians graduating from its vocational training and research-led programmes each year.

We are seeking a Receptionist to be located in the main GSA building on campus.  The Receptionist is a member of the GSA Operations team who look after all aspects of operational support systems for GSA including buildings, resources and events.  The GSA building is set at the entrance to the main Stag Hill campus. The post holder will provide full and comprehensive professional reception service to GSA and the University of Surrey, to be the first point of contact for visitors, staff and students in the building, and ensure that all are received in a welcoming and efficient manner.  The Receptionist will help to facilitate the efficient running of the building, and will be required to undertake a number of relevant duties as a member of the Operations team.  The GSA building is a busy and exciting environment in which to work; there is a café in the foyer area which is popular with staff and students from across the University.  The post would suit someone who is confident and enjoys dealing with a wide range of people, who possesses excellent customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills, as well as effective communication and organisational ability.
