Are you looking to develop your skills across a broad range of key University processes? Can you understand and then lead key data returns and resource allocation modelling? Would you like to be involved in delivering a key strategic project for the University of Leeds?

We are looking for a professional and highly numerate individual to work closely with the Senior Planning Officer (Resource Allocation and Student Numbers) as we develop and implement a planning and forecasting tool and prepare for the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) Data Futures move to in year student data returns. You will lead on core activity in the planning and student data returns cycle which will involve managing the University's resource allocation model, running the student number forecast survey, leading on core student focussed statutory returns to Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE) and HESA and fee income modelling to support access agreement development and monitoring.

Strategic in your thinking and confident and creative in your approach you must be able to deal with complex academic and financial information. You will have demonstrable knowledge of and an interest in the higher education sector and the key issues it faces particularly in relation to funding along with extensive knowledge of and experience of analysing and interpreting data. You will also have strong communication skills and be able to quickly create and maintain strong working relationships with staff at all levels throughout the organisation.
