Dates:  ASAP – 15th August Working hours: Full time / 36 hours, Monday to Friday Assignment: Conference & Events Assistant Location: Highfield Campus                                Please see below details of a new * temporary * assignment.     Job details:

To provide high quality, effective and efficient administrative support to the Conference, Events & Hospitality Team and to internal and external customers and stakeholders, to assist with the achievement of business objectives, through clear, well maintained, office systems and procedures. The successful candidate will need to be quick thinking, have excellent organisation skills, the ability to balance competing priorities and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.

 Essential skills:

Previous experience of providing high quality, administrative support to a team Fully conversant with Microsoft Office (in particular MS Excel and MS Outlook) Excellent communication skills – both written and spoken -  to build effective networks with clients and other team members Ability to work independently, organising data and scheduling activities to ensure deadlines are met Capacity to manage time effectively and a commitment to working to high standards of accuracy Proven ability to multi-task to respond to new and continually changing requests from other team members and customers 

Desirable skills:

Agresso A flexible approach to working Previous experience within the events sector preferable
