The Department of Sports Development is a forward thinking, progressive department within the University of Bath. The Department hosts a multi-sport environment delivering to elite athletes, staff and students of the university and the local community. The Department offers a wide range of sports programmes and activities focusing on high quality service and excellence in provision.

The Department is looking for a highly motivated individual to join our community outreach team as Tribe Programmes Co-ordinator. The postholder will work closely with our Sports Development Assistant Manager developing our Tribe programme including leading on our Swim School programme.

The postholder will be the main point of contact for all enquiries, bookings and payments from customers, will be responsible for the delivery of our Tribe activities including recruiting, deploying and observing coaches, and will be expected to be present at the sessions themselves on a regular basis as the representative of the programme.

Applicants would ideally have a degree qualification in a related field for the role and ideally have experience of youth coaching including a relevant National Governing Body coaching qualification. Applicants should have strong administrative skills and experience of customer facing roles. Applicants should have understanding of the sporting landscape, especially locally to Bath and good knowledge of talent pathways in sport.
