The University of Nottingham has received European Regional Development Funds (ERDF) to establish The Energy Innovation and Collaboration (EIC) project, working with local Small to Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) to promote the adoption of low carbon technologies and accelerate research and development of low carbon innovations.

The post will be responsible for the provision of technical support to the activities of the EIC offering technical expertise in energy efficiency, low-carbon technologies and general engineering/scientific advice. Alongside colleagues in the EIC, the post holder will support the testing and development of low-carbon technologies at the Energy Technologies Building, the building of basic technology prototypes and the use of University test-beds such as the climatic chamber and the Creative Energy Home heat network. The post holder will help maintain these research facilities and support the installation of testing equipment at SME sites (e.g. energy loggers).

There are 2 full time posts available and are fixed term until 31st March 2019.
