This research assistant role is to support Prof David Galbreath to perform his role as Conflict Theme Leadership Fellow of the Partnership for Conflict, Crime and Security which is funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC), the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Councul (EPSRC).

The Conflict Theme funds 28 research projects across the UK in a portfolio of conflict research spanning across arts and humanities and social sciences. The role of the leadership fellow is to provide leadership and support to the funded projects and to work with the research councils on future funding objectives in the area of conflict research. This role is to support Prof Galbreath in providing leadership and support for these projects. The primary responsibilities will be organising events and activities for the funded research. Furthermore, this role supports Prof Galbreath's research fellowship as part of the conflict theme.

This is a fixed-term role until February 2018.
