The University of Bath wish to appoint a Maintenance Plumber to work in the Operations and Maintenance section of the Department of Estates.

Duties will be predominantly reactive maintenance, repair and fault finding in the University`s Academic buildings, Residences, and Sports facilities. The work is interesting and varied on a diverse range of building services.

We are looking for a self-motivated individual who has maintenance plumbing experience in larger buildings or commercial facilities, having good communication skills, and able to use home computers, smart phones or tablets.  They should be able to work alone or as part of a team, across mechanical and electrical disciplines where necessary.

Participation in a 24 hour on-call rota is mandatory.

Applicants should have served a recognised craft apprenticeship in Plumbing, and hold City & Guilds Parts 1-3 or NVQ2 qualification in plumbing, or related engineering discipline, and attained the JIB PHMES CSCS Blue card qualification standard. Holding an ACS gas qualification would be an advantage.
