An opportunity has arisen within the Library Office Administrative team. The post holder will provide administrative and logistical support for Library staff across areas of Library operation. With a focus on financial administration, primarily the ordering, receipt and distribution of goods, including support for Article Processing Charge administration and maintenance of inventories, the post holder acts as Purchasing Co-ordinator for the Library, monitoring expenditure and commitments and providing reports. In addition the post holder works with other members of the office team to ensure continuity of service and support in all aspects of the team’s work including support for Library and Arts Senior Management Team delivery of strategic objectives.

The successful candidate will be highly organised with a flexible approach that enables you to meet the demands of this diverse role. They will have experience in an administrative or secretarial support role, and be able to communicate effectively with a wide range of different groups.
