An exciting opportunity has become available as Hub Administrator for NPL South of England, a regional Hub of the National Physical Laboratory hosted at the University of Surrey.

Reporting to the Hub Director, as Hub Administrator you will play a key role in ensuring that this collaboration between NPL and the University is operating smoothly and efficiently and dealing professionally with external stakeholders.

Possessing excellent oral and written communication skills, you will have previous experience of working in an administrative environment. You will demonstrate good IT skills and the ability to manage a varied workload under pressure. Excellent inter-personal skills and a pro-active approach are essential.

The post holder will support the Director of NPL South of England and other University and NPL staff working in areas connected to the Hub. The ability to work independently using your own initiative to manage work and resolve issues is essential.

You will have a good working knowledge of MS Office packages and experience of minuting meetings. Experience of working with budgets and experience of the Higher Education Sector would be beneficial is not essential.
