The studio group will develop a distinct approach to architectural design under your offer of high quality teaching and creative direction. Your role involves working with final year BA (Hons) Architecture students in one-to-one/group tutorials, design seminars, formal reviews and all module assessment points. Under your guidance, students are expected to develop innovative and inspiring design outputs associated with a major design project. Sessions are timetabled once a week during term time. The successful candidate shall work collaboratively with the year leader, director of technology and a dedicated technical tutor assigned to your design studio to ensure that the students’ technical outputs respond appropriately to their design intent. Candidates must hold a BA Architecture qualification (or equivalent), with a postgraduate qualification in architecture (or equivalent) desirable. A rich professional experience with some technical experience in design, potentially across a number of creative disciplines, is desirable. Experience of teaching design at Higher Education is also desirable or evidence of coordinating group activities in a creative endeavour.
