Description :

Are you experienced in data management and looking for your next challenge? Do you want to further your career in one of the UK’s leading research intensive Universities?

You will assist in the development and management of a UK-wide bowel cancer data repository (CORECT-R). This is being created as part of a major new programme funded by Cancer Research UK. CORECT-R will bring together all of the datasets that are relevant to colorectal cancer and link them to form a single accessible resource. This will then be used by people across the country to produce the high-quality cancer intelligence we need to improve outcomes from this common disease.

You will need experience of linking and processing large routine datasets, along with excellent relational database and SQL programming skills. You will work under the direction of the Senior Data Manager and use your initiative to identify ways of developing CORECT-R. You will also need the ability to build strong working relationships with team members, external customers and technical partners.
