International Conference on Tribology in Manufacturing Processes & Advanced Surface Engineering

This conference provides an ideal opportunity for participants to receive and contribute up-to-date knowledge on tribology, applications, and solutions. Industry representatives are welcome to participate and exhibit products.

The International Research Group of Tribology in Manufacturing encourages presentations in areas of, but not limited to: Lubricants and Lubrication Techniques, Surface Engineering and Coatings, Friction, Wear, Contact Mechanics, Joining Technologies, Additive Manufacturing, Machining and Forming Processes, Modeling, Simulation, Experimental Techniques, Industrial Applications and Case Studies, Environmentally Friendly Tribological Solutions, and other topics related to Tribological Phenomena.

Authors wishing to make a presentation (oral or poster) are requested to submit a short abstract in English, by 21 January 2024. The abstracts should be sent to EasyChair. The abstract template can be downloaded from the conference website.

The organizing committee will work hard to make the experience in Spain unforgettable for the attendees. In this sense, it is planned to accompany the scientific part of the conference with various social events, through which attendees will enjoy Spanish gastronomy, culture and folklore. The conference dates coincide with the beginning of summer, a time when numerous festivals are held in the area. In fact, from June 20 to 24, Alicante celebrates the Hogueras de San Juan (Bonfires of Saint John), officially declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest. For those curious to see a bullfight, every day from June 21 to 25, 2024 there will be a bullfight at the Plaza de Toros de Alicante (Bullring).
