Algebraic and Geometric Categorification

Categorification is a relatively new and very exciting field of mathematics bridging a number of inter-related areas, including representation theory, combinatorics, algebraic geometry, geometric topology, and mathematical physics. Its philosophy is that many mathematical structures that appear to be fundamental are, in fact, mere shadows of a higher and richer mathematical reality. The aim of this workshop is to bring together researchers working in the various facets of categorification.
