SIVB meetings are truly memorable events that let you delve deep into the current discoveries and new directions of plant and animal biotechnology. The 2019 meeting will be held at the Tampa Marriott Waterside Hotel & Marina, from June 8-12, 2019. This year's meeting will explore the frontiers of genome editing and biotechnology with sessions on “Frontiers of Synthetic Biology”, “Maximizing gene editing target specificity”, "Delivery of genome editing reagents", "Genome editing for crop improvement", "Protoplast technology for genome editing", "Metabolic engineering for value added products and biofuels", “Recalcitrance in tissue culture and transformation", "Regulation of morphogenesis". Additional plant and animal biotechnology sessions as well as student and postdoc presentation competitions will enrich the program.
