The school will focus on techniques that employ long wavelength neutrons to achieve high energy resolution, enabling the study of dynamical processes over a wide range of time scales, from ~100 ns to ~1 ps. Participants will have the opportunity to use three of the following 5 neutron instruments: disk chopper spectrometer (DCS), backscattering spectrometer (HFBS), spin echo spectrometer (NSE), BT7 double focusing thermal triple-axis spectrometer, the multi-axis crystal spectrometer (MACS).
