Indian Society for Radiation Physics (ISRP) is organizing the 22nd National Symposium on Radiation Physics (NSRP-22) at Jawaharlal Nehru University New Delhi during the November 8-10, 2019. The symposium has the tentative focal theme, "Recent Developments in Radiation Physics Research". The symposium will cover the salient features of such facilities, their capability as a potential tool for radiation physics research, the challenges faced and experimental techniques. There will be invited talks by eminent scientists, from India and abroad & oral and poster presentation of contributed papers during the symposium. The event will provide an opportunity for scientists and students to present their work and interact with experts.
Topics: Scope of Topics to be covered Radiation physics, X-rays, gamma rays, synchrotron radiation, Interaction, transport, Radiation damage, Radiation physics in material research, Energy and environmental applications of radiation physics, Radiation dosimetry, protection & shielding, Ion beams and particle accelerators, Radiation Waste Management and disposal, radiation therapy and diagnostics, X-ray and gamma ray characterization, Experimental techniques, Theories and models of radiation processes and interactions, Radiation detectors & shielding, Radiation in space research, Radiation in biological sciences, radiation from magnetically confined plasma, Methods and techniques in radiation research
