Population growth and growing energy demands are making clear the finiteness of our planet. The CO2 of our activities release is leading to climate change. We are consuming fossil fuels at an increasing rate; potable water is becoming more valuable than oil in some areas of the world and food security has become a new national problem. This sobering picture demands that biological engineers develop more environmental friendly, energy-efficient processes.  

Current agricultural science and technology, driven by intelligent biotechnology, strives to shape a friendly and sustainable green environment and achieve the goal of food security under the current situation of food shortage, plant lesions and climate variability. 

The aim of APLSBE is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and discuss the future and development in Life Sciences, Biological Engineering and related fields. This conference provides an opportunity for delegates to exchange ideas face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration.
