Workshop on Materials and Concepts for Solar Photovoltaic Cells : Issues and Challenges

CRTSE and DCRD/Sonatrach are organizing a Workshop in March 2020 on Materials and Concepts for Solar Photovoltaic Cells with a special focus on the current context, in domestic or international scene. The topics are likely to be of interest to all parties involved in the photovoltaic value chain: researchers, technologists, strategists and industrials in the energy field. This will be an area to share information on the present situation of the photovoltaic sector, the current issues and challenges in order to identify recommendations and action scenarios for better prospects and development of PV industry in Algeria for short and medium terms. Over 150 researchers, scientists, engineers and stakeholders are expected to attend the two-day event, which will be held at Algiers from 23-24 March 2020. Submission: The Local Organizing Committee of WMC'PV20 warmly and kindly invites you to submit extended abstracts, either for oral or poster presentations. Submission Deadline: 30 November 2019 Topics: The workshop program includes oral and poster presentations that address the following main topics: Photovoltaic cell technologies Solar cells based on p-type and n-type silicon; PERC, bifacial, organic and inorganic thin film based solar cells.
