Life 2020

Life 2020 is a global congress of the life sciences, to be held in Tampere, Finland in September 2020. Organized with EMBO, Life 2020 will showcase cutting-edge research in cell and developmental biology, metabolism, neuroscience, immunity, molecular medicine and evolution. It will comprise symposia featuring international research leaders, participatory workshops addressing real-world issues, and social events with a special Finnish flair. It will be an opportunity for Europe’s life scientists to meet, network and develop their careers and research together. The congress will incorporate a half-day exhibition and symposium dedicated to bridge-building with the wider community, on the theme of ‘Health Technologies for Citizens’. Life 2020 will be THE scientific gathering of the year.
