Welcome to the 1st International Conference & Exposition on Mechanical, Material and Manufacturing Technology (ICE3MT2020). The ICE3MT2020 will be organized by Department of Mechanical Engineering, CVR College of Engineering (An Autonomous Institution), Hyderabad, India during June 12-13, 2020. With the adoption of global technology and developments, Indian manufacturing industry emerged as one of the high growth sectors. According to the 2016 Global Manufacturing Competitiveness Index (GMCI) published by Deloitte Global, India is expected to become the fifth largest manufacturing country in the world by the end of year 2020. Further, in the wake of Hon'ble Prime Minister's flagship ‘Make in India’ and ‘Skill India’ initiatives to place India on the world map as a manufacturing hub there is a necessity for effective industry-academia interaction on today's technical challenges, latest research trends and advance revolutions that are persuading the future of mechanical, material and manufacturing industry. Academia and researchers to discuss the current research and formulate effective strategies in the manufacturing sector and hence the conference proposed. This conference aims to enhance and promote programmatic collaboration between industry and researchers to pave the way for new innovations in mechanical, material and manufacturing technology useful to industrial applications.
