13. European Biophysics Conference is is organized by Biophysics Austria in Vienna. It is a part of conference series that is chaired by the European Biophysical Societies Association (EBSA, http://ebsa.org/portal/). The last EBSA conference was in Madrid 2019. Commonly, the European meeting brings together more than 1000 biophysicists from all over the world. We are prepared to organize a hybrid meeting that will allow everyone to attend regardless of the COVID19 pandemic situation. The scientific focus of the upcoming conference will be classical biophysics ‐ including several sessions on membrane transporters and channels, virus‐membrane interactions, protein synthesis and folding, protein transport, single molecule biophysics, lipid‐protein interactions, molecular biophysics, bioenergetics, etc.
Topics: Advanced optical microscopy, Advances and applications in cryo-electron microscopy, Bioenergetics, Biomimetic nanopores, Biomolecular simulations, Biosensors, Cell & tissue biophysics, Channels and Ca2+ signaling, Cytoskeleton / motor proteins, DNA architecture and gene regulation, Emerging breakthrough methods in molecular-scale biophysics (ARBRE), Ionic liquids biomolecules and cells, Light as a tool in biophysics, Lipid-protein Interactions, Liquid-liquid phase separation & intrinsically disordered proteins, Mechanobiology, Medical biophysics / imaging, Membrane active peptides, Membrane architecture & asymmetry, Membrane signal transduction, Membrane transporter & channels, Protein translocation, assembly and folding, Protons on interfaces, Quantification of molecular forces, Synthetic cell, Virus biophysics
