Research Fellow in Music and Computational Social Science, School of Media and Communication
Working with Professor David Hesmondhalgh, as part of a successful and well-established research project, MUSICSTREAM: Music Culture in the Age of Streaming, funded by the European Research Council in the form of Horizon 2020 Advanced Research Grant, running from 2021 to 2026, you will develop and lead sub-projects concerning the distribution and consumption of music, using methods associated with computational social science. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the formulation and submission of research publications as well as help manage and direct the project as opportunities allow.
