We’re looking for a motivated and knowledgeable individual with expertise in Sport and Exercise Science who can inspire students through engaging, current, high-quality teaching. Whether your background is in academia or professional practice, we value your experience and will support you in developing your own research or applied interests within a collaborative and supportive environment. We are happy to consider applications from a variety of Sport & Exercise Science disciplines, but particularly welcome applications from those with a background in exercise psychology, performance analysis, biomechanics, sport rehabilitation or clinical exercise physiology.

In order to be successful in this role you should have:

A relevant degree in Sport & Exercise Science or Sport Therapy, or related fieldA PhD relevant to sport & exercise science, or be near to completion of itA Higher Education teaching qualification and/or an HEA Fellowship, or willingness to undertake this within the first 12 monthsProfessional experience of working in areas relevant to sport and exercise science deliveryChartered Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (CASES) accreditationUnderstanding of academic and award standards and the range and level of knowledge and skills, both subject-specific and generic, which the programme is intended to foster.Experience implementing creative approaches to developing teaching and learningCompetent in learning technologies, data analysis software (or Python/R) and AI, for effective use in teaching, learning and assessment
