An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Research Administrator to join the Centre of Evidence Based Dermatology (CEBD) which is part of the Unit of Lifespan and Population Health within the School of Medicine. Led by Professors Kim Thomas and Hywel Williams, CEBD has an international reputation for independent research into the prevention and treatment of skin disease. You will join a dynamic and friendly team of approximately 20 staff and work with a range of clinical and non-clinical academics, researchers and other administrators. The main purpose of this role is to provide administrative support for research projects at CEBD. This will include supporting the RAPID Eczema Trials programme; a National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded applied research programme running multiple online randomised controlled trials. You will also spend some of your time providing administrative support for knowledge exchange and educational training activities and events. Key activities will include meeting organisation and associated activities, finance tracking, dealing with queries, maintenance of contact databases and websites and supporting the delivery of events. 

Experience of working as part of a team in an office-based role, working accurately with finance or numerical data and a high level of IT skills are all essential, along with excellent planning, organisation, and communication skills. This role is available on a fixed term basis until 31/08/27.  Hours of work are part-time (21 hours maximum to a minimum of 14.5 hours) – please state your preferred hours on your application.
