This post is an opportunity to join a busy and thriving clinical trials unit that designs and conducts high quality national and international multicentre trials across a range of health topics, collaborating with clinicians and academics within the University and local NHS trust.â¯â¯ 

â¯â¯The unit is seeking to recruitâ¯a Trial Coordinatorâ¯to work within our multidisciplinary team and support the successful delivery ofâ¯our trials. The successful candidate will work on one or more projects working closely with the Trial Manager or Senior Trial Manager throughout all aspects of trial set-up, recruitment, close-out,â¯analysisâ¯and reporting. This will include working closely with the Chief Investigator, liaising with and training site staff, working with the relevant research networks, and performing site monitoring visits as well asâ¯maintainingâ¯study progress documentation.â¯â¯â¯ 

â¯Candidates should have an understanding of UK clinical research and be an expert in Microsoft Outlook,â¯Wordâ¯and Excel, whilst proficient in other Microsoft packages. They should have good written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus and be able toâ¯demonstrateâ¯planning and organisational skills.â¯â¯â¯

NCTU is a rapidly growing UK Clinical Research Collaboration registered Clinical Trials Unit (www.ukcrc-ctu.org.uk) based in the School of Medicine at the University of Nottingham. Our mission is to conduct top quality, high impact multicentre clinical trials across a range of health areas which will improve health outcomes. We have a broad and expanding portfolio of trials. In addition, we conduct methodological work to improve the efficiency and quality of trial design, conduct,â¯analysisâ¯and reporting. NCTU has close links with NHS Trusts,â¯universitiesâ¯and industry partners.â¯â¯
