 About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Digital Learning team at an exciting time as we move into a period of Digital Transformation at the University.

Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

Providing expert, proactive technical user support and guidance for the University’s centrally managed learning technologies, ensuring reliable, high quality digital experiences for staff and studentsCollaborating with Digital Learning colleagues in the testing and implementation of new system features or integrations, and maintenance of system processes, including engaging in strategic digital projectsTaking lead responsibility for the support of Professional Support staff with administrative responsibility in our Learning Management Systems, including communications and training for administrative featuresPlanning and managing project work packages to completion, engaging with colleagues and stakeholders across the University

This role offers the opportunity to work pro-actively and have an impact on how we support users of digital systems and in ensuring that technical developments are implemented effectively.

About You

As Support Officer (Digital Learning), you will have:

Proven experience delivering high quality user support with effective problem solving abilities, including troubleshooting complex technical issues and escalation with suppliersExpertise in digital learning systems, including maintenance, feature testing and implementation and analysis of data, considering the user experience and needs of the serviceExcellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to provide clear guidance to a non-technical audience, and build productive working relationships across academic, administrative, and technical teamsStrong organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, and manage multiple demands including project work, report building, and daily support, adapting effectively to changing circumstances
