About the role: 

Applications are invited for the post of Follow Up Coordinator, within the academic unit of Stroke, Mental Health & Clinical Neurosciences, School of Medicine. You will be based at the Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham University Hospitals and will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team supporting multi-centre UK and international stroke trials.â¯

You will be a highly motivated and personable individual who works well as a member of the team, as well as using your own initiative.   You will work closely with Chief Investigators, the trial team, researchers and clinicians.  You will be responsible for follow up activities required to ensure efficient and successful data collection in order to complete clinical trials.  Typical activities include follow-up visits, postal questionnaires and telephone calls, in addition to liaising with GP’s and hospital sites as part of the follow up process.  You will be required to conduct audit and data checking of clinical trial paperwork to authorise trial payments. You will also assist the trial managers with the set up and closedown of sites involved in the trials.  You will be involved with several clinical trials and travel within the UK and internationally may be required to attend trial promotion activities and conferences.
