Research Coordinator, TEA Study (Part-time, Fixed Term)

About the role
We are seeking an organised and enthusiastic Research Coordinator to join the Techniques to Enable Safe and Dignified Drinking in Adults with Dysphagia (TEA) Study, an NIHR-funded research project led by Dr Jacqueline Benfield. The TEA Study aims to identify the most promising techniques used to help adults with swallowing difficulties drink safely and comfortably, improving care, dignity and quality of life for people living with dysphagia.
You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day coordination of this multi-stage research study, working closely with the research team and a wide range of stakeholders including clinicians, researchers, patients, carers and external partners. Your responsibilities will include coordinating study administration, supporting meetings and events, tracking project activities and timelines, maintaining records and documentation, responding to enquiries, and helping ensure the smooth delivery of study objectives.
About the team
You will join the Centre for Rehabilitation and Ageing Research within the School of Medicine and work alongside an established multidisciplinary team with expertise in dysphagia and mixed methods research. About you
We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and experience managing competing priorities.Experience coordinating projects, activities or complex administrative processes.Confidence using Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.What we offer
