تفاصيل :

This post is funded by a University of Hull PhD/PDRA award and will involve the post-holder working within the Maternal and Reproductive Health research cluster (MaRH) in the Faculty of Health Sciences. The MaRH group is led by Professors Julie Jomeen and Mark Hayter and the post holder will be focussed on 4 key areas of activity – all centred around our development of a maternal wellbeing research agenda. The 4 linked areas of activity will be;

1. Acting as lead to develop the relationship between MaRH research cluster and the newly established Allam Birth Centre at the Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Foundation Trust - with the aim of developing a strong NHS/University presence in the area of maternal health. This link is seen as crucial in translating the work of MaRH on maternal wellbeing into clinical practice – thereby demonstrating the real impact of our work on the care and management of maternity care. This will develop a nationally recognised centre for this important aspect of maternal health research and care.

2. Linked to (1) the RA will assist the MaRH group to monitor and record ‘impact’ as part of the development of REF related impact of research evidence case studies.

3. Assisting with PhD project supervision and mentoring students – including the drafting of research outputs generated by the projects.

4. Assisting MaRH academic staff to identify and write high quality research grant applications to NHS and other research funding streams.

The post holder will either hold a PhD or be close to completing one and will have an interest and possibly experience in maternal, reproductive or sexual health research. He/she will demonstrate a commitment to the pursuit of excellence in research, and work towards the research aims of the MaRH group.

This post requires an enhanced clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service for Adult and Child Workforce.
