Located within the School of Social Sciences, the Department of Sociology & Criminology is a high performing entity that provides its students and staff with exceptional opportunities for teaching, research and professional development, all within an applied and focused environment.   We are seeking to appoint an exceptional individual as Senior Lecturer in Criminology. The successful applicant will be PhD-qualified, with a strong national and international profile in a relevant area of research in any aspect of Criminology, evidence of external grant income, a substantial track record of publications and outputs, and PhD completions. The department of Sociology & Criminology houses just under 40 full time academic staff, and the post holder will be able to contribute to both undergraduate and post graduate teaching, as well as PhD supervision and research activity. The post-holder will have the opportunity to contribute to strategic planning in order to enhance aspects of faculty life, course development, research activity, and the student experience.   Interviews will be held on 19th and 24th of July.
