The Department of Midwifery seeks to appoint an NMC registered midwife approved teacher, with experience of working as a lecturer in the HEI setting, to fulfil this role. You should have a depth & breadth of specialist knowledge in the field and possess, or be willing to work towards, a Masters level qualification.
You must be highly motivated, well organised with excellent communication, IT and leadership skills. The role will include working closely with midwifery mentors, maintaining clinical link/personal tutor roles and providing pastoral support for our students.
We are ideally seeking someone with an interest in global health and experience of achieving and maintaining BFI accreditation. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in midwifery education and health related research.
