تفاصيل :

Are you an ambitious researcher looking for your next challenge? Do you have an established background in synthetic organic or medicinal chemistry? Do you want to further your career in one of the UKs leading research intensive Universities?

We are looking for an ambitious, practical and enthusiastic scientist who can work well as part of an active team. You will contribute to a multi-disciplinary project working on the development of helicase inhibitors for the treatment of Kaposi’s sarcoma.

You should hold a PhD in synthetic or medicinal chemistry, chemical biology or a closely allied discipline. Extensive knowledge of organic synthesis and the ability to successfully synthesis biologically active molecules is essential.

You will be based in the laboratory of Dr Richard Foster, and work closely with our collaborators Professor Adrian Whitehouse (Faculty of Biological Sciences, University of Leeds) and Professor James Stewart (University of Liverpool).

Further information about the project and recent publications are available within the additional information document.
