Catering Assistant (Part Time, Term Time) (EF5173A)

We are looking for enthusiastic Catering Assistants to work in our new outlet in the Alfred Tennyson building at the University of Lincoln. You must be able to demonstrate a passion for food, the ability to deliver exemplary customer service to the students and staff using the cafe and love making the best espresso based drinks possible.

This is a real hands on role for someone who wants to make a difference for customers, use their imagination to increase sales, and be involved in every part of the units operation from serving customers, cash handling to food safety.

Like all our positions you must be able to build relationships and create a great experience for our customers. You will already be working in a busy catering environment using traditional barista coffee machines, have good communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to work effectively using your initiative.

The positions are for 32 weeks across the year following university semesters and vacations. The 2 available positions are as below;

Position 1: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 12.00 noon

Position 2: Monday to Friday 11.45am to 3.45pm

The starting date will be early September 2018 so that the operation is ready when the students return later in the month.

This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
