This professorial post provides an exciting opportunity to drive the strategic development of research in an area of the faculty’s health research portfolio (nursing, midwifery or allied health) and to play a key role in leading the University’s Centre of Excellence in Social Care, Health and Related Research (CSCHaRR). The post holder will work with senior research team to build capacity and capability in relation to research led practice within their area of expertise and will lead collaborative research groups and networks internally and externally across our wider network of regional, national and international partnerships.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding researcher with an established national and international profile and a strong track record of publication and external income generation who will contribute to BCU’s UoA 3 REF return in 2021. The post-holder will contribute to the work of the Doctoral Research College through the recruitment and supervision of PhD students and other academic training activities.
