Venue Assistant (M187)

We are seeking an energetic, enthusiastic Venue Assistant to work full time to support our Venue Managers. You will take a lead role in the smooth running of the day to day operations of our cafés and bars. You will also have to maintain both high levels of customer service and a positive attitude at all times. This post will primarily be located at Barker House Farm at the heart of South West Campus.

Barker House Farm is our busiest retail unit and serves over 350 meals a day to our catered accommodation students, staff and members of the surrounding colleges. The successful candidate should have a strong bar background but also the ability to adapt to food service and have the flexibility to support the business demands.

You should have excellent people skills, an ability to build sustainable working relationships, be happy to ‘muck in’ and present a positive image of yourself and the organisation at all times.

This apprenticeship role will have the opportunity to study for an associated qualification.
