The School of Chemistry at the University of Nottingham is seeking an Educational Developer - Chemistry to support a major multi-partner project which aims to transform the pharmacy and chemistry curricula in five Kenyan HEIs. The project is part of the ‘SPHEIR’ programme. 

This Educational Developer Post will be reporting to the project leads and working with the other project staff, the role holders will undertake curriculum evaluation and review incorporating international best practice into the design and development of curricula for Chemistry degree courses.

Candidates for this post must have a fundamental understanding of a broad range of Chemistry science and education and be capable of understanding the educational challenges of a modern, multi-dimensional Chemistry programme. A passion for teaching/education of chemistry and excellent data analysis/project management skills are essential.

Candidate should have a PhD or equivalent in Chemistry or the equivalent in professional qualifications and experience.

This full-time post is available immediately and will be offered on a full time, fixed-term contract for a period of two years.
