Lecturer - Academic Development (Success and Progression) (0.6 full-time equivalent) (ET3022-18-541)

The Centre for Learning and Teaching is seeking to employ a Lecturer to join the Student Academic Success and Partnership team. This post has been created specifically to support a programme of initiatives across the university to reduce the attainment gap, particularly for students from disadvantaged groups, along with interventions that aim to improve retention and facilitate student success.

The successful candidate will have a high level of practical/professional expertise in the field of widening access and participation, and/or student retention, progression and success. Sound knowledge of the field of higher education learning and academic development is essential, such as in the areas of inclusive practice, student engagement, equality and diversity, including current research and professional development within the UK higher education sector.

This is a Fixed term post until 31/07/2020

We are intending to hold interviews for this position on either the 5th or 6th November 2018
