The post-holder will work with colleagues in the School of Education and the Centre for Studies in Culture and Practice in Education (CSPACE) to make a significant contribution to the development of our research in Education. We are proud to promote a cross phase, multi-disciplinary research ethos and currently have three key research groups in the areas of Music Education, Practitioner Education and Education Cultures. Whilst we welcome applications from colleagues in any area of our practice we are particularly looking to strengthen our capacity and capability in the areas of Education Studies and Early Childhood Studies.  We are seeking to appoint a well-established researcher with a national and international profile and a track record of publication, external income generation and experience of supporting doctoral students to completion. The post-holders will make a contribution to teaching on undergraduate and postgraduate programmes as applicable and support workforce development, through the recruitment and supervision of doctoral students and other academic training activities.
