We are seeking two highly motivated Research Fellows (peptide chemists) to support the development of Synthetic Teixobactins. This project involves the development of simplified highly potent synthetic teixobactins against Multi-drug resistant bacterial infections using unique design and efficient synthesis developed at Lincoln. This is a multi-disciplinary project at the interface of chemistry and medicine have work packages in synthesis and microbiological evaluation of molecules. These posts will support the design and synthesis of teixobactins and will be based within the School of Pharmacy at the University of Lincoln. These posts offer an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in antimicrobial drug development with leading researchers.
