We are offering an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team within the University of Surrey’s Doctoral College. The Doctoral College is a recent initiative that was established to support the academic and professional development of postgraduate and early career researchers and to ensure our world-leading research continues to grow.

Within this newly created role, you will make an important contribution to realising a core objective of the Research Strategy to double postgraduate research numbers within 5 years. You will identify and pursue doctoral and post-doctoral funding opportunities by horizon scanning, co-ordinating bids and supporting academic supervisors to seek out external opportunities.

A good team player, you will have excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills. You will be a self-starter and adept at working across a range of departments to maximise external investment in doctoral and early career researchers.
